COVID-19 Update
We thought that now would be a good time to update you on how Warwick is preparing for the COVID-19 virus. The current situation is that there are six confirmed COVID cases in Maryland, all of which are located west of Chesapeake Bay and over an hour from our facility.
While we have not been directly affected, Warwick is taking steps to prepare:
Eliminating all non-essential business travel for staff
Limiting visitors to Warwick's facility
Providing gloves and hand sanitizer for all staff
Enhancing cleaning and disinfection of surfaces
Increasing signage and discussions about the importance of hand washing
Encouraging staff to stay home when not feeling well
Providing thermometers to monitor staff health
Enabling all managers to work remotely, or to assist in Operations as needed
We believe that eCommerce activity may actually increase over the coming weeks as consumers avoid crowds and spend more time working (and ordering) from home.
